BEREA - John Patrick Scully, 88, died Sat., Oct. 16, 2004, at the Berea Hospital. He was a native of Pittsburg, CA, retired plant controller for Dresser Industries and an Army Air Corp Veteran of WWII. He is survived by a daughter, Joan Scully (James) Williams of Rock Hill, SC; a son, James (Lisa) Scully of Berea; sisters, Catherine Wirtz and Agnes Scully of Muskegon, MI; Brother, George (Cleo) Sculley of Muskegon, MI; grandchildren, Jessica Williams of Charlotte, NC, Jeremy Williams of Charleston, SC, Julianna Williams of Columbia, SC and John Patrick Scully of Berea. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Agnes Scully; his wife, Gertrude Bolema Scully; brothers, Joseph and James Scully and a sister, Mary Farr. Services will be 11 am Tues. at St. Clare Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Berea Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 - 9 pm Mon. at the Davis & Powell Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.
